RELIGION CRITIQUED
Letter sent to The Pope in the Vatican, 2003
I apologize for inconveniencing you. Desperation compels me to do
so. I hope that your office can help me put forth a particularly
humiliating experience I suffered. It involved brain-washing and mind
control. I need to caution others.
I have written several letters to his Holiness John Pope II to no avail. Since1974, I have been
physically and mentally possessed by a certain Father Gino
Buressi of Italy. His mentor was the canonized Padre Pio, by whom Father
Gino claims to have been possessed as well as endowed with the same
stigmata. Both of them claimed to have had visions directly from
Jesus and the Our Lady of Fatima - who entreated Father Gino to build a
church in her honor in San Victorino Romano - that same church which
he used to immortalize himself. Justified by those visions, Father
Gino blackmailed his followers for donations - and in some cases
threatened death to those who resisted him.
I wish to humbly ask the Vatican how Father Gino could be allowed to become a priest with
the authorization of the Vatican though he never attended any school.
Where is he supposed to have gotten his knowledge of truth and
honesty? His ethical foundations?
Convinced that he is the savior of the world and we owe him our lives, Father Gino feels he has
the right to kidnap innocent people and use them towards his own ends.
His greatest pleasure has always been humiliating people, particularly
highly educated people. My husband was one such person - an internationally known lawyer living in Rome, while, I,
myself came from an aristocratic family of accomplished doctors who treated the
czars of Russia. Father Gino led us on odyssey of possession, in
which he exercised his sadistic tendencies at will. This was most
demeaning. It halved us a couple. Father Gino sacrificed my
causes to his own and reduced me to a state of non-existence. He used my
body as a receptacle for the other people illnesses so I exhibited their
symptoms in his insane effort to qualify himself for sainthood. He
needed to tally up miracles. He controlled my emotional and physical
energies to such a point I was rendered helpless. I was unable to
control my own bodily functions, and forced to engage in a bizarre spiritual sexuality
Why does the Vatican continue to support the misdoings of this charlatan? Does it lay a claim
to his supernatural powert also hope to subjugate others by claiming
supernatural powers. It seems that the Vatican prefers false holy men
who have the ability to brainwash people - as if vacant minded
people could confirm the existence of God. What Father Gino does can be
easily explained. He awakens his psychic powers and energizes his
will power to the degree that his electromagnetic impulses can pass
through any object - even from a long distance. Thus he can
telepathically unbalance a person‚s chemical composition by way of its
hormonal system, which operates on the unconscious level. Once a
person‚s system is unbalanced, Father Gino can break the connection
between brain neurons, erasing memories and displacing emotions.
This enables him to get inside the victim brain and install his own
commands: The thinking person loses all rational ability, at a great
financial cost. He excites his followers sexually while intensifying
their sense of guilt. Humiliation leads to a depression. Victims find
themselves forever altered, defenseless to emotional and psychological manipulation.
Father Gino brutalizes innocent people in a claim to glorify God. He has stolen my life away for
his own glory. He is driven to achieve sainthood at any cost. To convince
people he is a miracle-maker, he continues to afflict my body. I went
to see a doctor, but how does a doctor address a patient who feels the
symptoms of a heart attack or excruciating stomach and lung pains when
they cannot be verified by lab tests? He could only prescribe painkillers.
My life was sacrificed to sustain thievery, fraudulence, and duplicity to the maximum.
Fathers Gino has tainted my existence. He has insulted everything that the
Church is supposed to represent, acting with the authorization of the Vatican.
If the Church stands on its honesty, Father Gino should not be allowed to wear priestly vestments.
Recent sex scandals already put the Church's authenticity into question.
The Vatican should prevent Father Gino from promoting his false mystique. An official
expulsion would set an example to other fanatics who use the same method of
mental manipulation. Those who aim to take over the world in God's
name should not be sanctioned. It is inhumane to coerce adolescents to
become suicide bombers. Manipulators who do this should be imprisoned
- along with sexual predators and terrorists. The public must condemn
charismatic leaders who are prone to corrupting the innocent.
Father Gino, to this day, still holds my life in his hands. The only escape from this degradation
would be to take my life in front of Saint Patrick's, with the note
saying that I was killed by Father Gino, who is legitimized by the Vatican. In this I would alert the world to the Vatican‚s
insensitivity.
My last hope is that others are spared the torment that is mine. My tearful plea should be heard so
that innocent the lives all around the world will be protected.
