Then one day I was introduced to a widower, a prominent lawyer in the film business named Max Ferrara. To look at Max, you’d never realize that you were dealing with one of the most astute legal minds in all of Italy. He served as a legal consultant for the biggest Film production companies in Rome, and he was held in high esteem by all the international film industry. When we married, I believed that my happiness would last forever. I was later introduce to an Catholic priest . I knew practically nothing about Catholicism. The pastor of the church was known as Father G. who had an undeniably magnetic Personality. He had inherited his position from a charismatic – and controversial – priest named Padre Pio. Padre Pio was known for his stigmata, Some critics, though, believe the stigmata was not miraculous at all, but a symptom of hysteria. He has just recently been declared the last saint of the twentieth century. Even though he had been blamed for brainwashing and sexually abusing a number of young women whom he adopted as his spiritual daughters. It was reported that his group prayer were performed even during the night in his bedroom where his sexual fusions were practice. He was also accused of intimidating parishioners during confession by emotional blackmail so that followers would attribute miracles to him that he had never performed Through blackmailing Padre Pio's capacities of making enormous amounts of money arrived to such a degree that he was nicknamed "money-machine maker". It convinced Vatican Banks that Padre Pio really was a great saint. Father G. was like Father Pio; he claims to have been possessed by Padre Pio and have the same stigmata; both of them claims that Jesus live inside them and commands them. The book Anatomy Of A Life Possessed analyzes the word “possession” which is often confused with the supernatural but only we humans can possess others. Possession is the most demeaning and humiliating action. So - called spiritual leaders with certain psychic powers can decide that only they can give a meaning to our lives by brainwashing us for his own ‘noble’ cause. Their mission is to subject the world with their ideology, prompted by their visions which they believes call him to action by seeking out the weak and vulnerable subjects to reduce them killers of not believers or as containers for the illnesses of others. Strangely enough, one such prophet, Mohamed, in his visions was chosen by the Angel Gabriel the last great prophet, when centuries before the same had done for Jesus when he was annointed Messiah by the same angel. Father G. also has visions of the Lady of Fatima entreating him to build a church to honor her coincidently in the same place where he has decided to immortalize his memory. Father G cynically blackmailed his followers for donations and in some cases threatened death to those who resisted him Pema was threatened with her husband’s death and turned into a "container" for holding the illnesses of others giving illusion to a miracle to qualify him as a saint. All for his glory he controlled her emotional and physical energy, forcing her into a bizarre "spiritual sexuality" Her perverse odyssey of possession even left her unable to control her own bodily functions reducing her to a state of non existence. Increasingly desperate, she went from one church to another, praying for help. But there was only silence. She was terrified that by remaining in Rome she might be putting Max’s life at further risk. Would moving away save him? She settled in New York, She needed to understand what was happening to her. She pored through books on medicine, on religion and metaphysics. She saw that what had befallen on her had been inflicted on others, too. She began to understand how such exploitation goes on and why it continues. She believed, that by writing her story she could help others in avoiding any kind of possession that exists not only in organized religions but even in Catholic Church. Father G decided also to give meaning to many naïve young foreigners lives who under Father G possession offered him unquestioning devotion. Father G brainwashed more than thirty seminarians who later became priests. Ferrara is appealing the Vatican to publicly reveal the names of these possessed priests so that future generations can avoid the virus of possession most humiliating ordeal. Ferrara firmly believes that laws against psychological abuse are just as necessary as those against sexual abuse I appeal to all people to protect their families, and in particular their children, by creating new legislation against spiritual possession. For this purpose, I propose creating a non-profit organization that would combat this type of little-known abuse.
